In the News: Chicago Food Trucks and Regulation

According to a recent article in Wall Street Journal, Chicago continues to curb food trucks with regulations that make it illegal for food trucks to operate near restaurants and any other businesses that serve food. Chicago’s restrictive food truck laws are a barrier to these entrepreneurs and, as the article points out:
“While government may have a role in food safety, it has no legitimate role picking the winners and losers in the restaurant business.”
