What’s worse than paying taxes? How about having your tax money spent in fraudulent ways? Al Hesson in the Santa Maria Times reports on fraud in the Individual Tax Identification Number (ITIN) system:
“The Inspector General’s office interviewed the tax examiners and just released a report confirming allegations from IRS employees that supervisors were urging them to ignore potential fraud in the ITIN program.”
